Love Pleads Guilty
Courtney Love has pleaded guilty to charges of being under the influence of drugs as part of a plea bargain that could help her avoid jail. The rocker agreed to enter a drug rehabilitation facility Tuesday rather than face a lengthy trial and risk a spell in jail. Love will be sentenced on July 16. Los Angeles Assistant District Attorney Jerry Baik says, "If she successfully completes the program she won't have to do the jail time. But during this period, if she does violate the terms of this program, she could serve up to the mandatory minimum of 90 days." A second charge of disorderly conduct is likely to be dismissed, according to prosecutors. The charges result from a police response to a breaking-and-entry incident last October at the home of Love's former boyfriend Jim Barber. Love still faces felony drug possession charges in Beverly Hills Superior Court next week - charges linked to a reported overdose last October. And she's also fighting charges of assault in New York after allegedly hurling a microphone stand at a fan during a concert.
Lohan's Dad Speaks Out About Family Fight

Young actress Lindsay Lohan's father is speaking out after police were called to the family's Long Island, New York, home to break up a fight. The fracas, between Michael Lohan and his brother-in-law Matt Sullivan, took place at a communion for the Freaky Friday star's youngest brother Dakota on Sunday. Police in Long Island confirm they were called to a domestic disturbance that sent Sullivan to the hospital. Speaking to American scandal show Celebrity Justice, Michael Lohan says, "It was my son's communion. After the communion we had a party. We were having a great time, it was a wonderful day. Then, he (Sullivan) came across the front of the car and he swung at me... and I hit him. He wound up getting, from what I am told, staples in the head. I don't know if it's six or 16, but I defended myself." The actress' father insists he did not start the fight. Lohan says his famous daughter did not witness the fight and has since returned to Los Angeles. He explains, "She's upset. But she's a trouper and she had to do what she had to do."
Halle Wins a Restraining Order
Halle Berry has a new stalker concern after a former Navy SEAL made threats against her life and those of her manager and publicist. The actress has won a restraining order against Greg Broussard, who insists he's destined to marry Berry. Legal papers obtained by American scandal show Celebrity Justice outline a history of harassment, targeting the actress and her manager Vincent Cirrincione. The documents claim the Louisiana man even showed up at Cirrincione's office to threaten him verbally, and state, "Mr Broussard has stated that he intends to become betrothed to Ms Berry, and incorrectly believes that Mr Cirrincione is Ms Berry's father." The statement continues, "He has stated repeatedly that, while 'he does not want to hurt anybody, ' he will not be prevented from meeting with Ms Berry and Mr Cirrincione." Given Broussard's military background and erratic behavior, the plaintiffs have been advised to treat this stalker incident more seriously than any other. In her written declaration filed in Los Angeles County Superior Court, Berry relays her fears: "Mr Broussard, a stranger to me, has imagined a relationship with me, wherein he and I are engaged to be married, and that my manager and publicist are preventing him from being with me. I do not know Mr Broussard and do not wish to have any contact with him... The threats he has relayed make me fear for my own safety as well as those who represent me." According to the documents, Broussard has sent a number of "inappropriate gifts" to Cirrincione's office for Berry, including an engagement ring. Broussard is reportedly under investigation by federal and state authorities in Louisiana for assault and making threats.
Caviezel Turns Down $75 Million Payday

Movie star Jim Caviezel has turned down the chance to become a multi- millionaire by starring in a series of TV commercials - because he wants to stay true to his strict Catholic beliefs. The actor has become hot property since starring as Jesus in Mel Gibson's epic The Passion Of The Christ, but the 35-year-old has turned down a series of deals - worth an estimated $75 million. He says, "I think if I had given way on just one scheme, I would have been tempted to do more. It would have been the easiest thing in the world to make that kind of money quickly. That sum would secure your future, but I would never be able to forgive myself." Among the deals Caviezel turned down was one for a T-shirt company's new 'Heavenly' line of apparel. He adds, "I could see the humor in it... but I think I would have upset a lot of people who got something special from the film."

Diaz Reveals Broken Nose Was a Big Deal

Movie star Cameron Diaz has revealed just how badly she broke her nose in a surfing accident last summer - it was shattered in 20 places. The accident-prone actress had broken her nose three times before the Hawaii surf smash, and felt sure it would just need "a couple of stitches." She says, "I totally busted my nose open... blood squirting everywhere. I had a gash across my nose but I kept saying, 'Don't worry, a couple of stitches it's fine, it's good.' We went to this surgeon, Dr Flowers, who happened to be there on a Saturday, and he totally looked at my nose and he said, 'You've shattered your nose.' I said, 'No, it just takes a couple of stitches, don't touch it. Just stitch it up, don't touch the bump. I've had the bump since I was 11-years-old. I don't want it changed. I know you think you want to change it but don't touch my nose.' He was like, 'OK sweetheart... your nose has about 20 pieces right now that are just all over the place and, if I don't like fix it with more than a couple of stitches, you're gonna have a nose that's broken in like 20 pieces."

McGregor Stressed Back To Smoking
Moulin Rouge star Ewan McGregor has taken up smoking again - after his bike trek across the world turned dangerous. The Scottish hunk is attempting to cycle 20,000 miles alongside biking partner Charlie Boorman, but has already encountered gun- toting military men and poisonous insects. And although McGregor quit smoking in January, in a bid to be fit enough for the endurance challenge, his nerves are now so shredded he has reverted to the bad habit. McGregor blames delays on the trip - caused by Boorman needing urgent medical treatment after accidentally splashing petrol on his face and then being attacked by poisonous insects - for the relapse. Another stressful incident, where he was also detained by Ukranian armed guards who finally released him after a local businessman recognized him and persuaded the militia-men to free him, also sent him back on the nicotine. But McGregor is trying to remain upbeat, saying, "Kazakhstan and Russia have been the most interesting countries on our route. We have been treated to koumiss, fermented horses' milk and meat."
