Police Seize Jackson's Underpants

Police have seized two pair's of Michael Jackson's underpants to ascertain whether stains found on the pop star's mattress came from him or boys he shared his bed with. Authorities, who will DNA test the underwear, also took several documents written by Jackson relating to the 'Rubberhead Club' he created for the children he entertained at his Californian Neverland Ranch, from memorabilia collector Henry Vaccaro's New Jersey warehouse. Jackson was charged with ten counts relating to child sex offences at Anta Maria Superior Court, California on Friday. The singer denies all charges.

Depp Wants Richards to Appear in 'Pirates' Sequel

Johnny Depp reportedly wants Rolling Stones rocker Keith Richards to appear in the Pirates Of The Caribbean: Curse Of The Black Pearl sequel - as his father. The hunky star famously based his character Jack Sparrow on the aged rocker in the celebrated film, and wants to pay tribute to Richards by landing him a role in the follow-up. A source says, "Johnny was slightly embarrassed by all the praise for Pirates because he was really just being Keith. A good way of thanking Keith would be to get him to do a walk-on in the sequel."

Watts Slams Ledger over Scarlett Flirtation

Oscar-nominee Naomi Watts reportedly called off her romance with Heath Ledger after becoming infuriated with his roving eye. The 21 Grams beauty, 35, was deeply embarrassed when, on a recent night out, Ledger openly flirted with rising star Scarlett Johansson in front of her - leading to a humiliating argument. Johansson, 19, was enjoying a cozy conversation with the Monster's Ball hunk in a Los Angeles nightclub when Watts discovered them and reportedly dragged him back to their table. British tabloid the Sunday Star reports that Johansson simply burst into a fit of giggles following the showdown, much to Watts' disgust.

Bana Says No to Bond

Australian star Eric Bana has ruled himself out of the running to replace Pierce Brosnan as the next James Bond. Along with fellow Antipodeans Hugh Jackman and Heath Ledger, Bana has been one of the favorites to play the suave British spy after Brosnan revealed producers the Broccoli family are unlikely to renew their working partnership. However, Bana has said he has not been approached to play the coveted role, and would not be in interested in the action film franchise if he were. He says, "That's not something I've ever really contemplated - no, I wouldn't be a Bond, no."

American Version of 'The Office' a Let-down

The American version of the Golden Globe-winning British comedy hit The Office has hit a major snag - an early screening of the show proved a painful experience for TV chiefs. Preview audiences greeted the American show with an icy silence after the pilot episode was screened at a 'testing facility' in Hollywood. One reviewer explains, "I don't think many of the test group I sat with was as familiar with the original British series as I was. Still, it was painfully clear that nobody was liking it. The lady next to me said she found it depressing." In the American version, funnyman Steve Carrell steps into Ricky Gervais' shoes as the boss of the office. But the reviewer believes Carrell's take on the role doesn't compare to the original character: "The acting lacks masterful underplaying of Gervais and company. A guy tries to fill Ricky's shoes and can't."

Beckinsale to Wed in Las Vegas?

British actress Kate Beckinsale has chosen a lively city to walk down the aisle with her director boyfriend Len Wiseman - Las Vegas. According to America's "In Touch Weekly" magazine, the pair will head to the American gambling capital to exchange nuptials in between Beckinsale's publicity tours to promote her two new movies Van Helsing and The Aviator. A source says, "They want a small wedding in Las Vegas. Her five-year-old daughter Lily will be the flower girl." Beckinsale, 30, has been dating Wiseman since they met on the set of the Vampire action thriller Underworld in 2003 and had planned to tie the knot on New Year's Eve, but had no room in her frantic schedules.

Diaz Warns Timberlake over Cuthbert Friendship

Cameron Diaz has issued an ultimatum to boyfriend Justin Timberlake to cool down his relationship with Elisha Cuthbert or face losing her. The Charlie's Angels star, 31, has warned her toyboy lover, 22, to ease off his friendship with The Girl Next Door star - following reports the two have become inseparable on the movie set of Edison. A friend of Diaz tells Britain's Daily Sport tabloid, "The final straw was when Cameron saw pictures of Justin and Elisha together looking very friendly. She's told him to cool it, even though he's told her they're just friends."

Knowles and Keys at War on Tour

Beyonce Knowles and Alicia Keys are reportedly on bad terms on their current Ladies First Tour - because both are grappling for star billing. The Destiny's Child star is apparently furious many critics have said Keys "steals the show", whilst Alicia is reportedly unhappy that Beyonce features far more prominently on the promotional posters for the extravaganza. A source tells Britain's "Heat" magazine, "There's barely a word exchanged between the two of them and their entourages are purposely kept separate. Beyonce is the tour headliner and Alicia feels as if she's being treated like a second class citizen." The source adds the disputes between the pop pair have got increasingly petty: "One argument between the two camps was whose bus was going to be closer to the back stage door, a distance of 40 feet at most."

Mullally Transfixed by J.Lo's Buttocks

Jennifer Lopez's infamous derriere has won yet another fan - this time in the form of actress Megan Mullally. J.Lo makes a guest appearance on Mullally's hit sitcom Will & Grace this week, and the brunette actress confesses she was mesmerized by the New York native's buttocks as they filmed their scenes together. Mullally says, "I don't really know her. She seemed very, very nice, but I have to tell you - and I'm not sure if this is a little off-color - but her butt is riveting! Seriously, it's mesmerizing. "It's like staring into a fire or watching a bay. It puts you into kind of a semi- hypnotic state. She seemed very nice, but I didn't get much further than that - honestly! It's so like something alien-like. "It's so right, and somehow it seems like it was transferred from someone else and put on her, but it works. It's unreal."

'The Simpsons' Actors Get Huge Pay Rise

The actors who voice Homer and Bart on The Simpsons are delighted with a huge pay rise which see them earning millions of dollars for their work on the hit animation show. Dan Castellaneta and Nancy Cartwright - who voice Homer and Bart respectively - are thrilled with their new contract following their battle with TV bosses at 20th Century Fox Television for a pay rise to $8 million each for the 22-episode 2004-05 season. The series producer explains, "We couldn't be happier to have reached a multi- year deal with the enormously talented cast of The Simpsons." The loss of even a few episodes of the animated hit show - a bulwark of Fox TV's schedule - would be financially painful for the network. The actors were earning $125,000 an episode before their contract dispute.
