Spears' Hotel Fun with Farrell

Pop babe Britney Spears is more than just friends with one-time kissing partner Colin Farrell - the good looking pair have reportedly been spending time together in a hotel. First Farrell was spotted with Spears' little sister Jamie Lynn at the singer's Los Angeles Onyx Hotel Tour gig earlier this month. And, according to American magazine Us Weekly, the couple have renewed their lust for each other - over a year after they were photographed smooching at the premiere for Farrell's film The Recruit. A source tells the publication, "Anytime she wasn't out shooting her video, they were up at the Beverly Hills Hotel." However, pals of the Irish heart-throb insist the well-documented ladies man has no intentions of settling down with the hitmaker. A friend says, "He knows she's very young. It's just a fling. Colin is being careful not to let Britney get too attached to him."
Houston Checks Out of Rehab

Troubled superstar Whitney Houston has checked out of a rehabilitation center after only five days of treatment. The singer, 40, has cut short her stay at a rehab clinic and is instead continuing her recovery program at an unknown location near her Atlanta, Georgia, home. Houston's spokeswoman Nancy Seltzer says, "Miss Houston is continuing the prescribed treatment, as was planned. Her movements are in total keeping with the program." While the singer continues to remain supportive of husband Bobby Brown, she will not be with him when he appears in a Massachusetts court in a paternity suit brought about by a woman who claims the R&B star fathered her two children and has not paid child support. Houston and Brown's 10-year-old daughter Bobbi Kristina is currently staying with relatives. Houston has already claimed to have kicked her drug habit with the help of spiritual adviser Prince Asiel Ben Israel. Israel says, "When you've got the demands of the press and the demands of your public, you're trying to take a pill to stay up and one to lay down. I think it's that kind of lifestyle."
Aretha in Hospital After Allergic Reaction
Soul veteran Aretha Franklin has been hospitalized due to an allergic reaction to antibiotics, according to her doctor. The star, who turns 62 today, has been in a Detroit, Michigan, hospital since Saturday - but her publicist initially refused to reveal what she was suffering from, only stating the legendary singer is in stable condition. But now Dr. Claude Young reveals, "It was an allergic reaction to some antibiotics that she took... it gave her a rather severe reaction. She is really doing well and she will be out and, of course, it's nothing that's lasting as far as we can tell at this time."
Stone's Divorce Finalized

Hollywood beauty Sharon Stone is a single woman again - her divorce from newspaper editor Phil Bronstein has been finalized. The Basic Instinct actress, 46, and the San Francisco Chronicle editor split in July 2003, with Bronstein citing "irreconcilable differences". Stone and Bronstein married on Valentine's Day 1998 and adopted a baby boy, Roan Joseph, in 2000. Their five-year marriage was full of drama - Bronstein was bitten on the foot by a Komodo dragon in 2001, only months before Stone had a major health scare after suffering from a brain hemorrhage. As their divorce was made official earlier this year, the couple have agreed to mutually waive spousal support.
Frasier's Final "Goodnight Seattle"

The cast and crew of Frasier marked the end of filming the long-running comedy series on Tuesday night by sharing a huge pizza buffet with their studio audience. Kelsey Grammer's lovable radio psychiatrist Dr. Frasier Crane said "Goodnight Seattle" for the very last time after playing the uptight broadcaster for eleven years. The hour-long finale starring Grammer, David Hyde Pierce, Peri Gilpin, Jane Leeves and John Mahoney will air in America on the NBC network on May 13. After studio announcer David Willis announced "Ladies and gentlemen, that's a wrap!", dinner was served to the several hundred Frasier fans in the audience by catering staff and Gilpin, who played Crane's man-hungry producer Roz Doyle. Grammer joked to the audience, "I'm never working this show again." The cast also paid tribute to Frasier and Cheers creator David Angell, who died on one of the aircraft that crashed into New York's World Trade Center on September 11. During the comedy's long run, the cast and crew have won 31 Emmys, six American Comedy Awards and two Directors Guild Of America honors.
Willis' Drunken Performance in Paris

Hollywood hardman Bruce Willis had to be carried out of a Paris bar after a drunken performance in the French capital on Saturday. The Sixth Sense star and girlfriend Brooke Burns arrived at the Ritz- Carlton hotels' Hemingway Bar at midnight and quickly gathered everyone's attention. A fellow drinker told American website Pagesix.Com, "He was wasted and was all over Brooke's a**. He kept drinking and passing his hat around, demanding that everyone in the bar give money to the bartender. Then he started banging on the glass bar." After three hours of revelry, Willis was escorted to his suite at 3am by two hotel employees, one under each arm.
'The Passion' Spurs on Monty Python Re-Release

Movie distributors are planning to re-release Monty Python classic Life Of Brian as a light-hearted alternative to Mel Gibson's harrowing epic The Passion Of The Christ. To mark the 25th anniversary of the biblical satire, the film will be shown in cinemas in Los Angeles, New York and other US cities. Distributor Rainbow says it hopes the film will "serve as an antidote to all the hysteria about Mel's movie", which has caused outrage for it's graphically violent portrayal of the last 12 hours of Jesus' life and has been accused of promoting anti-Semitism. Adverts are cheekily advertising Life Of Brian with the tag lines "Mel or Monty" and "The Passion of the Python?" The movie follows a Jewish character from Nazareth who is worshipped as the Messiah than crucified by Romans. The Monty Python team always maintained the film was a spoof on Bible films and intolerance rather than Christianity. It was only completed when former Beatle George Harrison stepped in to finance it after EMI Films ceased funding the project, fearing it would spark controversy. Rainbow president Henry Jaglom says, "We decided this is an important time to re-release this film, to provide some counter-programming to The Passion."
Gellar's Poison Passion

Actress Sarah Michelle Gellar has acquired a taste for eating poisonous blowfish since working in Japan. The Scooby Doo was already a fan of the nation's other specialties, such a sushi, before spending three months there to film her upcoming thriller The Grudge, but was immensely impressed by the poisonous fish - which is illegal to eat in her native America. She says, "I love Japanese food. They have this great fish market and you go down at like four in the morning and they cut open the fish and you just eat it right out of there. But my favorite was blowfish. It's completely poisonous so you have to slice it very, very carefully, but you wanna slice it just enough so you get a little bit of poison so that your mouth gets all tingly. It's delicious. It's so good I got a plate (but) it was a very little portion. So then I got a second plate of it. And then I was about to order my third plate when some of my castmates stopped me due to the fact that it's $85 a plate - to have poisonous fish!"
Roseanne Slammed for Ignoring Press

Faded comedienne Roseanne angered journalists at the premiere of her new movie Home On The Range - when she refused to speak with any of them. The funnygirl showed up at the Sunday unveiling of the Disney movie - in which she voices a cow - at Hollywood's El Capitan Theater with around 20 pals. But her refusal to stop for photographers or journalists sparked ire among those on the red carpet. Annoyed New York Daily News journalists Marilyn Beck and Stacy Jenel Smith write, "Given her career nosedive - and it's been going on for years now, including her failed talk show, her abortive reality show, etc - one would think Roseanne would grab the chance to, um, milk Home on the Range, for all it's worth. It's a fun flick, and goodness knows, what with her bovine counterpart appearing in stores everywhere, it's a prize opportunity to remind the world that she can be funny. Instead, she's reminding folks that she can be a bloody pain."
Lavigne Tears Into Duff Again

Canadian pop rebel Avril Lavigne has launched another scathing attack on teen rival Hilary Duff - just weeks after describing the adolescent actress as a "mommy's girl". The hitmaker, 19, criticized the 16-year-old Lizzie McGuire star after Duff said Lavigne needs to be more appreciative of her fans. When questioned about her feud with Duff, Lavigne slammed the blonde beauty for a second time on a Boston radio station last week. Lavigne scathed, "I'm like, 'Who are you to talk about me? You should know better.' Don't talk trash with me. You can go screw yourself." After fuming about Duff, Lavigne ripped a photo of herself down off the station wall, screaming, "I hate that f***ing photo."
