Renee Dumps George Clooney For Flirting
Renée Zellweger has split from Hollywood heartthrob George Clooney after just two months - amid reports George had returned to his womanizing ways. Zellweger has moved out of Clooney's Hollywood mansion after a string of rows, just days after Clooney was spotted chatting up two exotic dancers in a Los Angeles strip club. A friend says, "Renée and George are still speaking so there's even a chance they could get back together. George has always been a party animal and he is a flirt. It's hard to deal with." Friends of the couple also believe Clooney's close friendship with Julia Roberts put the relationship under pressure. One pal adds, "He has a really close friendship with Julia after they filmed Ocean's Eleven earlier this year."
Hugh Holds Liz's Hand At Pre-natal Check Up
Elizabeth Hurley has taken her former boyfriend Hugh Grant to her first pre-natal check up - with the baby's father Steve Bing nowhere in sight. Hurley, who previously claimed rumors of her pregnancy were falsehoods being spread by "vicious gossips", has admitted she is three months pregnant with her American lover's child and turned to Grant, who she dated for 13 years, to hold her hand through her first scans. Liz, who split from Grant in May of last year amid reports of differences over parenthood issues, has dated a string of men since. But friends insist it's only natural for Hugh to step in and support Liz through her pregnancy. One pal says, "Elizabeth is still incredibly close to Hugh, and to her it was perfectly natural that he should be there when she went for her scan. He is very happy for her and was the first to congratulate her." The baby is due in April.
Ben Stiller: Meet The Parents To Be

There's something about babies for actor Ben Stiller - he and wife Christine Taylor are expecting their first child together. The goofy thespian, best known for hilarious turns in There's Something About Mary and Meet The Parents, and his gorgeous spouse phoned Ben's dad Jerry Stiller on-set on his sitcom with the good news. King Of Queens actor Jerry, 74, tells People magazine, "I got a call from Ben, 'Dad, I've got to tell you something.' Ben is like a kid still, when he drops these little pieces of information. He said, 'You're going to be a grandfather.' I said, 'I'm so glad, so happy, but I still have to learn my lines!'" Ben, who turns 36 later this month, tied the knot with 30-year-old Taylor in May 2000, and they have been inseparable ever since. Taylor, who first gained attention playing Marcia in 1995's The Brady Bunch Movie, co-starred in Zoolander, which Stiller starred in, wrote and directed.
Crowe's Cattle Terror
Russell Crowe proved he's a real cowboy when he was caught up in a dramatic cattle stampede on his sprawling Australian ranch. The New Zealand-born actor was out on the range fixing fences with several ranch hands, when he looked up to see a herd of spooked cattle galloped toward him at breakneck speed. Unlike in his Oscar-winning Roman movie, the macho hunk didn't make a lucky escape - a maddened steer hooked him on the thigh and smashed him to the ground. Crowe wasn't seriously hurt, but a ranch hand who'd gone down in the middle of the stampede suffered nasty head injuries. The actor called for an emergency airlift and flew the guy to a hospital miles away, where he's reportedly doing well.
Don Johnson's Drinking Threatens Marriage

Actor Don Johnson has completed another stint in rehab - in a bid to salvage his marriage to Kelley Phleger. According to Us Magazine, Phleger, now pregnant with their second child, is threatening to leave Johnson after two years of marriage because of his persistent drinking. Johnson has admitted in the past that his drinking problem contributed to the break-up of his marriage to actress Melanie Griffith, who's now wed to Spanish hunk Antonio Banderas. Don has a daughter with Phleger, Atherton Grace, who was born in 1999.
Billy Crudup Broadway-bound As Elephant Man

American actor Billy Crudup is heading to New York's Broadway in a stage revival of The Elephant Man. The Almost Famous actor will play John Merrick, the disfigured Victorian-era character who appears briefly in the current Johnny Depp movie From Hell. Crudup is following in the footsteps of stars like David Bowie by refusing to use prosthetics to make himself appear disfigured, opting instead to contort his body. Performances of the show begin in New York in January - considered the worst possible time to open a Broadway play. But a defiant Crudup quips, "I like a challenge."
Kate Winslet Pines For Leo
Kate Winslet is pining after Titanic co-star Leonardo DiCaprio - because she hates stripping off on screen with anyone else. The British actress peeled off in the 1998 James Cameron blockbuster while the American's character painted a portrait of her. Winslet's latest movie Iris also calls for Kate to bare all, with another actor whose face will not be shown on camera. But she couldn't find an extra on set hunky enough to make her want to disrobe. Someone was eventually chosen, but just as cameras were about to roll, the 26-year-old actress decided the chemistry wasn't right. Kate then took another look over the crew and grabbed a handsome stagehand with whom to share the scene. But he refused, claiming his wife would kill him if she found out. Finally, co-star Hugh Bonneville volunteered to stand in and Kate agreed to the strip.
Kurt & Goldie Join O'Reilly/Clooney Battle

Movie star couple Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn have slammed the bosses of the September 11th Fund charity in for mishandling cash handouts and keeping vital information from the public. The couple appeared on a celebrity telethon, organized by George Clooney, aimed at raising cash for the fund and victims of the terrorist attacks on America. But both are now determined not to give their time so freely in future - after learning that more than 20 per cent of the $260 million raised will be swallowed up by administration costs. And Russell is fuming after discovering less than $40 million of the total raised has been handed out - well over a month after the telethon, during which stars like Russell, Hawn, Tom Hanks and Julia Roberts read morale-boosting passages and answered phones to speak to people donating cash. Russell says, "It was easy to do and it was fun. We just wanted to do something. I think the people that we talked to on the phone thought that all the money was going to charity. My guess would be that if 90 per cent was going to the people and 10 per cent to administration no one would complain; if it was 80/20 some would complain, but around 70/30 is a bit much. In the future I won't be doing these until I know all the money is going to the people."
Muslim Leaders Salute Will Smith

Muslim leaders across America are saluting Will Smith for embracing their religion after completing the Muhammad Ali biopic. Smith was introduced to the religion while learning about the legendary boxer's life - Islam is Ali's religion of choice. Friends close to Smith claim the megastar is now embracing the religion in his own life and is eager to learn more about it. Director of the American Muslim Association of North America, Sofian Zakkout says, "Muhammad Ali is one of the best examples of Muslims in this country. He's been a wonderful spokesperson for the religion and if Will Smith can continue Muhammad Ali's work that would be wonderful." He continues, "Islam is a peaceful religion and if good people such as Muhammad and Will can carry that message then it would be wonderful. It would be a positive message for peaceful Muslims all over the world." Smith appeared at the America: A Tribute To Heroes telethon in September alongside Ali, defending Islam in the wake of the terrorist attacks in New York and Washington.
Jason Biggs Family Ambitions
American Pie star Jason Biggs is delighted his Hollywood career is taking off - but his real aim is to become a father. The 23-year-old actor hopes to continue being a successful movie star but by the time he's 35 his major aim is to settle down and have a family. He says, "I'd hope to be married with children. I just hope I'm happy. It's hard for me to imagine right now being as busy as I am, to settle down and have a family but there are people who manage to make it work so I'll definitely pick their brain. There's got to be some sort of balance where you can set your priorities and make it work."
