Robert Pattinson is GQ's best dressed man of the year

Adding to an already-teeming list of semi-awards thrust at The Twilight Saga: New Moon, The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, and Remember Me star Robert Pattinson is "Best Dressed" from GQ Magazine (the British edition). According to the AP, Prime Minister Gordon Brown was selected the worst dressed man of the year while Pattinson was chosen as the best. The best-dressed top 10 also includes the members of reunited boy band Take That, James Bond star Daniel Craig and the dapper animated star of the movie "Fantastic Mr. Fox," voiced by George Clooney. Apparently GQ has pretty good taste. You might recall that they also selected Michael Sheen as "Actor of the Ye »

Kirsten Prout talks about being a part of 'The Twilight Saga: Eclipse'

Kirsten Prout, "Lucy" in The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, portrays one of the smaller vampire roles in the Twilight series, but as adage suggests, "there are no small roles." The actress recently did an interview with IESB.net where she discussed her involvement with the series - particularly how she became a part of it. In the interview, Prout revealed that she originally auditioned for the part of "Bree" (which was later given to Jodelle Ferland), but that she was called back for the role of "Lucy" after showing the casting crew what she had going for her. "I can tell you that I've never felt that level of nervousness in an audition room, in my whole career. I had read the books, but it hadn't really sunk in what a huge phenomenon Twilight was. I went into it and it was an important audition, but I wasn't really nervous," she said. »

Does this guy look like The Twilight Saga: New Moon, The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, and Remember Me star Robert Pattinson to you? Well, apparently a lot of people in Kansas seem to think he does. A recent report by the Wichita Eagle, a local Kansas newspaper, highlighted the story that this young man suffers from the absolutely unbearable problem of looking like Robert Pattinson to local girls and women. "Poor Austin. Born with an angular jaw, brooding eyes, superior bone structure and a striking resemblance to one of Hollywood's most panted-over movie stars." Yes, poor Austin . . . , »

This summer, The Twilight Saga: New Moon and The Twilight Saga: Eclipse star Michael Welch's film Unrequited will be released to theaters, and, so far, the studio responsible for the project (Lucky Day Studios) has been putting together some interesting promotional information for the movie. A website, poster, and iPhone App for the film all made their ways to the web last year, and the trailer for the film came about as well. The story behind Unrequited, according to the film's website, is as follows: Psychological thriller Unrequited tells the story of Ben Jacobs, a troubled young man who, on his 18th birthday, must leave the group home for “troubled teens” where he has been living for the past several months. Will ‘Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief’ achieve ‘Harry Potter’ success?

3 January 2010 4:43 PM, PST

The book’s film adaptation, Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief, is due in theaters on February 12, 2010, and it boasts an all-star line-up of supporting cast members behind its namesake representative Logan Lerman (“Percy Jackson”): Rosario Dawson (“Persephone”), Uma Thurman (“Medusa”), Pierce Brosnan (“Chiron”), Sean Bean (“Zeus”), Catherine Keener (“Sally Jackson”), Steve Coogan (“Hades”), Joe Pantoliano (“Gabe”), Kevin McKidd (“Poseidon”). The Lightning Thief releases against Joe Johnston’s The Wolfman (starring Benecio Del Toro, Emily Blunt, and Anthony Hopkins) and Garry Marshall’s Valentine’s Day (starring Julia Roberts, Ashton Kutcher, and Anne Hathaway) – far from competing with the likes of Harry Potter or the Twilight series.
