Billy Joel & Christie Brinkley Comment on Daughter's 'Dangerous Actions'

Billy Joel and Christie Brinkley have released a joint statement about their daughter, Alexa Ray's recent hospitalization to "The Insider." Joel and Brinkley's statement, which criticizes the New York Post, reads: "Every parent can imagine the pain and anguish we face as parents of a daughter who is working to recover from the dangerous actions she took while suffering a devastating heartbreak. As much as we hate dignifying tabloid stories with a response, we feel we must set the record straight to protect our family. The story that ran in the New York Post on December 8th, and has been subsequently spread across the internet, is filled with vicious lies and attempts to smear our character and that of our beloved daughter. We ask the public and legitimate media outlets to please ‘consider the source’ and to not further exacerbate our daughter’s situation by repeating and legitimizing these false reports.

On Wednesday night’s ABC special "Barbara Walters Presents: The 10 Most Fascinating People of 2009," Walters said Kate Gosselin is scheduled to do a new talk show next spring. On Tuesday, Gosselin was spotted out in Raleigh, Nc with a camera crew in tow, and Tlc told "The Insider" they are working with the TV mom on developing a new show.

"Mr. Busey is thrilled and excited about the upcoming birth of his new son and thanks everyone for their well wishes and wonderful expressions of support,” the actor’s agent and long-time attorney Vicki Roberts tells "The Insider." The expectant mother is Busey's girlfriend Steffanie Sampson, says People.com. Last night, the couple was spotted out on the red carpet for the L.A. premiere of 'Crazy Heart.' Busey, who appeared on "Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew" last year, has a son and a daughter from previous relationships.

Congress to Subpoena White House Party Crashers

The Washington D.C. couple who allegedly crashed a White House state dinner last month will reportedly be subpoenaed to testify by Congress. The Associated Press reports that lawmakers on the House Homeland Security Committee voted to authorize subpoenas on Wednesday that would call on Tareq and Michaele Salahi to testify about how they gained access to a November 24 party at the White House. The couple, speaking through their attorney, said Tuesday that they would plead their Fifth Amendment right and not answer any questions. According to the AP, the committee would not accept a proposal to subpoena Desiree Rogers, the White House social secretary.

Bridget Moynahan Comments on Tom Brady's Second Son's Birth

Bridget Moynahan, mother of Tom Brady's two-year-old son Jack, is now commenting on the football star’s new baby with his wife Gisele Bundchen. "I wish [Tom and Gisele] the best with their baby,” Bridget told People magazine in a statement Wednesday. “I'm sure my son will enjoy having a half sibling. I ask the press to respect our privacy while we are welcoming this new addition to our extended family." Bridget gave birth to Jack following her break-up with Tom, and after he had been dating Gisele for months. Gisele gave birth to a baby boy last night.

The reality star flashed some bling on her ring finger at a party on Tuesday night, announcing that she was engaged to be married -- "The Insider" has the video! Tequila, 27, arrived to Famous Stars and Straps' 10-year anniversary that was being celebrated in conjunction with Snoop Dogg's 10th album, Malice N Wonderland. The MTV star said that she was set to wed Johnson & Johnson heiress Casey Johnson, who was also at the event. "Diamonds are a girl's best friend, are they not?" the reality star said as she flashed a giant ring she was wearing over her red gloves, adding, "Who wouldn't fall in love with this [ring] from this beautiful lady?" Paris Hilton Tweets: Sister Nicky's House Got Robbed

Socialite Paris Hilton took to her Twitter handle on Tuesday night to reveal that her sister Nicky's home had been burglarized. "It's unbelievable how my sister called the cops over an hour ago and they still haven't shown up. Her house just got robbed, so messed up," Paris tweeted. "I Hate people who steal! It's so wrong! I hope they catch whoever did this! There has been so many robberies lately. So scary!" Four people were charged with felonies in October after allegedly burglarizing the homes of several celebrities including Lindsay Lohan, Megan Fox, Ashley Tisdale and "The Hills" star Audrina Patridge. Paris posted another tweet once law enforcement arrived, writing, "The cops finally just got to Nicky's house. She thought her cats escaped in the robbery but she just found them under the bed. Thank God."

'Miracle on the Hudson' Documentary to Take Flight on Tlc

Tlc will premiere a one-hour documentary about the Us Airways flight to be forever remembered as the "Miracle on the Hudson." The doc, coined "Brace for Impact," is titled after the token phrase Captain Chesley "Sully" Sullenberger used to warn his passengers they’d be making an emergency landing in New York's Hudson River. The special, according to Variety, is narrated by Oscar-nominated actor Harrison Ford. In the film, Sully re-creates the miraculous flight and celebrates a reunion with the crew. "Brace for Impact" takes off on January 10.

'Heart' to Heart with Jeff Bridges About Oscar Buzz

Oscar buzz was humming at the premiere of 'Crazy Heart' in Los Angeles on Tuesday night. Jeff Bridges told "The Insider" what it would be like if he is awarded the illustrious statuette come March. He said, "It's wonderful to be acknowledged that way by the guys who do what you do...It's also a chance to get some attention for this movie that I'm so happy about and so proud of...Being involved in the awards, certainly raises the attention."
