They've been tweeting So You Think You Can Dance all season, so it's only fitting that permanent judge Adam Shankman and choreographic golden boy Travis Wall have taken to Twitter about tonight's final performances. And according to Travis and Adam we have the best finale ever in store for us tonight.

But don't take my long winded word for it, here's what they have to say in 140 characters or less. »

The promotional material for this season of The Bachelor is finally getting off the runway! First, we got a group shot of the cast, and now a glimpse of a high-flying football game at Jake's first cocktail party with his 25 lover-wannabes.

Let's see: Desperate pleas for attention? Check! Made-up single moms using side-ponytails to try to look younger? Check! Creepy fascination with the Bachelor's abs? Triple Check! Looks like we're ready for take-off.

Think you're sick of the airplane puns yet? Well, you better up your tolerance quickly, because even Jake indulges in some aeronautical quips in the video below, taken from the premiere of The Bachelor: On the Wings of Love, which airs January 4 at 8 Pm on ABC.

And, just for the record, I will be keeping a running tally of the pilot jokes and would-be winged witticisms as they occur this season. With a subtitle like "On the Wings of Love, »

How I Met Your Mother: Breaking the Bad Habit

We learned a lot of things on How I Met Your Mother this week: Robin smoked and so did everyone else in the group. No, this wasn't just the occasional enjoyment of tobacco we've seen in the past seasons. The gang was definitely addicted to cigarettes and as much as they wanted to quit, they always found themselves going back for more...until they found a good reason to really quit the bad habit. More on that after the jump. »

House: Hugh Laurie on 'Family Guy'

No new episode of House until January 25, but if you watch your cartoons, you've probably seen Gregory House (Hugh Laurie) on another show Wednesday, albeit an animated one.

Laurie lent his voice on the Family Guy episode "Business Guy" this week, and while he was only on a few scenes and said only a few lines, it was dead on, and his scenes were among the funniest on the episode.

Desperate Housewives: There Will Be Wheelchair

This Desperate Housewives plane crash storyline is starting to seem like a protracted jigsaw puzzle. Some pieces come in here and there but nothing too conclusive to reveal the big picture. E! Online reports that one of the three to five casualties will be "a husband" who will find himself "paralyzed" and eventually become "quite the household tyrant from his wheelchair."

Never mind that the photo that accompanied this Desperate Housewives spoiler on the original site is that of Bree (Marcia Cross) and Orson (Kyle MacLachlan), we're almost sure that it's going to be him that will be wheel-chair bound when the smoke settles on this one. He previously revealed that his character will return on January. So does this mean Karl (Richard Burgi) is one of the plane crash deaths?

NCIS: Preview of Episode 7.10 "Faith"

It's the Christmas episode of NCIS tonight, and when the Halloween episode didn't appeal well to critics, you hope tonight's "Faith" is better. For a couple of things, Gibbs' (Mark Harmon) father is making another appearance, and so is Abby's best friend Carol Wilson, to be played by her real-life best friend Meredith Eaton. Don't you like it already?

On the episode, the team tries to solve a case involving a Reverend's son and they soon figure out he may be involved in a hate crime. Gibbs, meanwhile, tries to figure out why his father has a sudden change in behavior right before the holidays. Uh oh. As for Abby, who is obsessed with Christmas, her best friend Carol is on NCIS to grant a child a Christmas wish.

If you think the insolvency storyline on The Office is over and done for, think again. Jenna Fischer tells TV Guide that the shakeup will not only affect David Wallace and the other big Dunder Mifflin executives, but the lower echelons of the corporate world as well, including our accountants, salesmen, and the warehouse, especially Matt. See what this whole financial crisis is doing to our favorite sitcoms?

"I do think that it's going to cause some shifts at corporate," says Fischer, who plays pregnant receptionist-turned-saleswoman Pam on the NBC comedy. "So there's going to be a lot of sort of job changes and it is going to shake up the structure of our current hierarchy."

Anyway, most of them have been doing their best to scout for new projects to keep themselves busy.  One of those who have tried to venture off into another territory is Lo Bosworth.

Scrubs: Preview of Episode 9.04 "Our Histories"

14 December 2009 11:20 AM, PST

We're getting another goodbye on tonight's episode of Scrubs, which will feature the return (and departure) of two characters from the past.  We're not talking about J.D. and Turk even though Dr. Cox would like to throw them out the window though.  This is about Ted (Sam Lloyd) and Gooch (Kate Micucci).

On "Our Histories", the couple returns to bid farewell to Dr. Bob Kelso (Ken Jenkins).  The three of them meet up in a nearby university bar to catch up on each other's lives, leading to another exodus of beloved characters.  Here's hoping they get an appropriate and hilarious exit just like the Janitor.

14 December 2009 4:04 AM, PST

It's the holiday season, the time of year when we should all look deep inside of ourselves, take stock of the blessings in our lives, show the people around us just how much we care about them, and ponder on what we're most thankful for while putting into perspective the troubles and hardships that we've faced this year, and hope for the best in the new year.

Right? I may have gone to public school, but I think I just figured out the meaning of Christmas!

With that in mind, let's all remember: yes, Gossip Girl is on hiatus until March. But at least the 24-hour celebrity news cycle never stops, and we can get our Gossip fix without a new episode in sight.

So here's your latest Gossip Girl news round-up. Be thankful! And give me presents. That's an essential part of the holiday spirit, too. »

Open Questions from the 'Dexter' Season 4 Finale

14 December 2009 4:02 AM, PST

Dexter's fourth season was easily its best yet, a taut and suspenseful ride ending in one of the most shocking moments on television.  While it's easy to reflect on how superb the Trinity Killer storyline was, there are many serious questions left for the writers to address.

While Dexter Morgan may think the worst is behind him, his rush to kill the Trinity Killer left more loose ends and open plot holes than ever before, and at this point it seems almost impossible for him to escape unscathed. »
