Robert Pattinson was nominated for best actor in a drama, Kristen Stewart for best actress in a drama and Cam Gigandet for best villain. Nikki Reed and Ashley Greene will be up for favorite female fresh face and Taylor Lautner for favorite male fresh face.
It’s also no surprise that the film to get the second highest number of nominations was “High School Musical 3: Senior Year.” Vanessa Hudgens and Ashley Tisdale will go head-to-head for best actress in a musical and so will Corbin Bleu and Zach Efron for best actor in a musical.
“The Hangover” has only been in theaters for two weeks but earned a nomination for best rockstar moment for the Mike Tyson’s cameo scene. Even “Watchmen” got some attention thanks to Malin Akerman being

Having shown its domination at 2009 MTV Movie Awards, "Twilight" is on its way to sweep away another awards, the 11th Annual Teen Choice Awards. Following the announcement of the awards' nominees for 2009, it is uncovered that the vampire drama movie led the fields by grabbing the most nods, twelve in all.

The latest news coming in for "Bond 23" suggested that the latest installment of the superspy series is stepping closer into production with the hiring of its writers. For this new Bond movie, producers have brought in the Academy Award-nominated screenwriter Peter Morgan to pen the screenplay.
46-year-old Morgan, who is known for his work in "The Queen", "Frost/Nixon" and "The Last King of Scotland", won't be working on the script alone though. He will be joined by Neal Purvis and Robert Wade, who have co-written the past four Bond features that include "Casino Royale" and "Quantum of Solace".
Ever since "Quantum of Solace" came out in theaters in November 2008, speculations have been mounting on the development of "Bond 23". Several actresses, such as Jennifer Aniston, Angelina Jolie as well as "Slumdog Millionaire" beauty Freida Pinto, have been rumored to be potential Bond girl. "Slumdog" director Danny Boyle was

After the world got wrapped up in Slumdog Millionaire fever last fall, I guess we all felt like Dev Patel and Freida Pinto owed it to us to fall in love for real. Turns out, that probably actually happened. Pinto broke up with her fiancee not long after the movie became a hit, and the rumors immediately started circulating that she and Patel had become involved. Now British tabloid The Telegraph is quoting Pinto as calling Patel "a lovely boy" and adding, "The friendship blossommed after the film, it got even stronger. This is all new to us." Is it the same as going on a game show to find the girl of your dreams? Not really. But the two are ridiculously adorable together, and their relationship-- however short-lived it may turn out to be-- offers a nice extra dollop of the Jamal and Latika romance. And unlike their poverty-stricken

Freida Pinto has declared her love for her Slumdog Millionaire co-star Dev Patel after previously shooting down rumours of a real-life romance.
The pair played childhood sweethearts in the Oscar-winning movie, and their close friendship away from the cameras prompted rumours of a relationship.
They initially laughed off speculation their on-screen chemistry had developed behind closed doors - but now Pinto, 24, is happy to talk about boyfriend Patel, who she calls "a lovely boy".
She says, "The friendship blossomed after the film, it got even stronger. This is all new to us.”

Woody Allen's one-man finishing school for talented up-and-coming actresses has a new recruit, with British newcomer Lucy Punch joining his new, and so-far untitled, London project. Punch replaces Nicole Kidman, who was forced to drop out last month due to clashes with John Cameron Mitchell's Rabbit Hole. She joins a high-profile cast that includes Antonio Banderas, Anthony Hopkins, Josh Brolin, Naomi Watts and Freida Pinto. Although Allen has gone all secret-squirrel and divulged virtually nothing about the project, Variety suggests that Punch is (and therefore Kidman originally was) slated to play a high-class escort (yes, Kidman). This definitely qualifies as news that doesn't sound quite right... watch this space for more.As career boasts go, it's a corker for Punch, who has hitherto concentrated on stage work this side of the pond but is known Stateside for her turn in Emmy-nominated CBS sitcom The Class.
