Steven John Wilkos was born March 9, 1964, in Chicago's northside. His parents are Stanley, a retired Chicago police officer, and Jeanette, a beauty school instructor. Steve is the third of four child, he has one brother and two sisters. In junior high, Steve was a puny 135 punds and wore glasses. Steve atttended the John J. Audubon school and Lane Tech High school. In high school, he started lifting weighs and his gained 110 pounds. Steve started playing baseball his freshman year of high school. He graduated from high school in 1982. Steve didn't care about going to college after high school, so he joined the Marine Corps and was enlisted for 7 years. In 1985, while in Quantico, Virginia, Steve met and married Rosae, who was a fellow marine. The couple divorced two years later. In 1989, he received an honorable discharge. In 1990, Steve followed in his father's footsteps and became a Chicago police officer. In May 1994, the producers for the Jerry Springer show needed to have security guards for a Klan show, so the decided to hire off-duty cops. Steve recruited fellow officers: Dave Johnsen, Mike McDermott, Mike O'Connor, Al Perales, and Jimmy Sherlock. He has been with the show since. In 1998, Steve and his second wife, Hannah, separated. They divorced in 1999. Steve loves baseball and is a fan of the Chicago Cubs. He's been a fan since 1969. Steve's other hobbies include playing golf, bowling, and reading. Steve is an animal lover and has had two dogs in his life. His current furry friend is Dina, a 12 year old Shepherd Lab mix. He would like to retire around 50 and travel. His favorite TV show is the Simpson's and he even appeared in an episode. Steve's favorite meal is steak and spaghetti. He really isn't into sweets. When is comes to women, he wants someone who loves life and appreciates humor. Steve credits his disciplinarian father for him not being in jail today. Steve's trademark bald head is shaved every other day using shaving cream and a razor.

Steve made his pro wrestling debut on a Maryland Championship Wrestling card on March 27th 2002 at Glen Burnie, Maryland, USA. He teamed up with ex-WWF lightweight wrestler Gillberg to beat Dino Divine and Chad Bowman in the main event.
