In 1962, she co-starred in an unsold pilot for a proposed TV series called "Dateline" It featured Rod Taylor as a San Francisco-based newspaper columnist. The pilot cost $200,000 and was shot on location.
In 1965, she starred an unsold pilot for a proposed NBC comedy series called "The Barbara Rush Show". The plot concern the misadventures of a mother who works as a stenographer to help pay her husband's tuition for medical school.
In 1966, she starred in an unsold sitcom pilot for NBC called Pet Set, where she played a veterinarian who treated her patients in the family home, much to the exasperation of her family.
