In 1957, she starred in a re-working of her sit-com pilot from the previous year, this time called, "Snooks" about the radio star who played Baby Snooks on the air. This time, the emphasis was on her family life, but the pilot still didn't interest NBC enough to produce the series.

From 1936-39, covering 39 shows, she was a featured cast member on Al Jolson's weekly CBS radio show, "The Lifebuoy Program." In addition to comedy, Martha sang both solos and duets with Jolson.
