Mark Harris, a former regular on Howard Stern's radio show is writing a behind-the-scenes book about the show that will claim, among other things, that telephone calls taken by Stern on the air are sometimes fraudulent, made by show staffers calling in from an office close to the studio, the New York Post reported today (Tuesday). Harris, the former husband of Martha Raye, recently walked off Stern's show assertedly because he was "sandbagged" by the host who brought on a polygraph expert and demanded that Harris answer questions about his sex life. He told the Post that Stern has become increasingly "meaner lately and less funny" as his TV show fails to attract the audiences he had hoped for. »
