Rupert Grint: Exclusive Images From 2010 Day-By-Day Calendar!

7 November 2009 12:39 PM, PST | Rupert-Grint.us/ | See recent Rupert Grint - Ice Cream Man news »

Having purchased the 2010 day-by-day calendar I notice several images from "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" that had not made it into the final cut not only of Rupert Grint but his co-stars, Jessie Cave, Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and others! You can see the three images of Rupert here, here and here and all the images here. I apologize if by chance you have seen these before. I went by memory and what I didn't find on the internet! In another gallery update, we have a scan from magazine "Galaxie" which you can view here. While it contains no new information you can see an untagged version of this picture! »

'Twilight' stars Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, and Taylor Lautner on Top 25 Celebrity Hotlist

5 November 2009 7:28 PM, PST | Twilight Examiner | See recent Twilight Examiner news »

They're the biggest trio of faces in film-based pop culture since Harry Potter's Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, and Rupert Grint, and they're all extremely lovely in their own way. They're also the leading cast mates of one of the most heavily involved film franchises in the world right now, and everybody knows who they are - everybody. They're Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, and Taylor Lautner, and according to their recent listing on People Magazine's "Top 25 Celebrity Hotlist," they're some of "[t]he most buzzed about stars this minute." Number one on the list was the one and only Kristen Stewart, followed by the sought-after Mr. Pattinson in second place. Lautner finished at a clean eleventh, but with the competitively buzzing stars put on this list, that positioning is still a testament to his drawing power. Other stars on the list included Kanye West and Taylor Swift. Though Swift ... »

Calm Down: Harry Potter Won't Be Naked In The Final Movie

5 November 2009 6:52 AM, PST | cinemablend.com | See recent Cinema Blend news »

Given all the running away from Snatchers and Death Eaters and Voldemort and giant snakes, there isn't a lot of time for romance in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. But hey, sex sells, right? That's probably why an Italian magazine allegedly fabricated a story about Daniel Radcliffe having a "very sensual" scene in the movie, and possibly even a naked one. Unsurprisingly, Radcliffe's representatives has quashed this one quickly. Just because we saw Radcliffe naked onstage in Equus doesn't mean Harry Potter audiences are quite ready for that. Digital Spy reports that Radcliffe's rep called the story, which included a supposed quote from director David Yates, a "complete fabrication." The scene they're referring to is obvious for fans of the book-- when Ron attempts to kill the Horcrux in the forest, a ghost comes out of it that takes the shape of Harry and Hermione kissing, preying on Ron's »

Radcliffe Strips Down Naked Rumours

4 November 2009 4:06 AM, PST | WENN | See recent WENN news »

Daniel Radcliffe has hit back at reports he will shed his clothes for the next Harry Potter movie - insisting rumours of a saucy scene aren't true.

The 20 year old, who previously bared all onstage in Equus, was rumoured to be flashing his flesh again in the next installment of the wizard franchise, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1.

Italian magazine Sorrisi e Canzoni appeared to confirm the reports, quoting director David Yates as saying: "Daniel Radcliffe appears naked in one scene. In the view we see Harry and a woman embracing and kissing. It’s an intriguing scene and very sensual."

But a representative for Radcliffe is adamant the truth was lost in translation, telling GossipCop the story is a "complete fabrication." »

Daniel Radcliffe Not Stripping Off in 'Deathly Hallows'

3 November 2009 10:49 PM, PST | Celebrity Mania | See recent Celebrity Mania news »

Just a day after Brazilian Harry Potter fansite Oclumencia posted news that Daniel Radcliffe will appear naked in "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I", Gossip Cop has debunked the rumor. According to the site, although the British actor once went nude in a play, "Equus", he will not strip off in the next sequel of the young wizard movies as his representative called the report of naked Harry Potter a "complete fabrication."

Previously, Oclumencia mentioned that "Deathly Hallows" director David Yates has had an interview with Sorrisi e Canzoni magazine and admitted that Daniel will bare his skin in one scene of the upcoming film. Moreover, the site claimed the helmer told the publication, "Daniel Radcliffe appears naked in one scene where Harry and [Rupert Grint's] Ron are fighting a magical creature, who fled to confuse and create a vision. In the view we see Harry and a woman embracing and kissing. »

Rumor of Naked Daniel Radcliffe in 'Deathly Hallows' Debunked

3 November 2009 10:43 PM, PST | Aceshowbiz | See recent Aceshowbiz news »

"Harry Potter" star Daniel Radcliffe apparently will not get down to his birthday suit in "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I". Responding to the nude speculation ignited by Sorrisi e Canzoni magazine's interview with director David Yates, was the 20-year-old's representative. To Gossip Cop, the rep noted the otherwise, shooting down the story by branding it "complete fabrication".

Words of Radcliffe being set to appear naked in the latest installment of the "Harry Potter" series were brought into attention earlier by Oclumencia. It cited a part in the current edition of Sorrisi e Canzoni in which Yates was quoted as saying, "Daniel Radcliffe appears naked in one scene where Harry and Ron are fighting a magical creature, who fled to confuse and create a vision. In the view we see Harry and a woman embracing and kissing. It's an intriguing scene and very sensual."

Ian McKellen Has Read The Hobbit Script

3 November 2009 9:18 AM, PST | ScreenRant.com | See recent Screen Rant news »

Of all those involved in the upcoming adaptation of The Hobbit, Ian McKellen seems to be the most vocal. The last time he “spilled the beans” about the pre-Lord of the Rings adventure (along with him talking a little bit about the standalone Magneto movie),  McKellen talked about when we could expect the script, which, he stated, would be “very soon.”

That was last month – fast forward a few weeks and it appears The Hobbit script has surfaced (or at least a draft of it) and lucky Sir McKellen has apparently had a read of it. However, it’s early days yet for the film (Part 1 doesn’t come out until the end of 2011), and sadly but not surprisingly, McKellen is staying tight-lipped about what’s in the script. Here’s what he told SciFiWire about it during an interview last week promoting AMC’s The Prisoner:

The Hangover's Human Tree T-Shirt is the top-selling Halloween tee

2 November 2009 7:02 AM, PST | Boxwish.com | See recent BoxWish news »

With the likes of Bruce Wayne (Christian Bale), James Bond (Daniel Craig) and Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) celebrated for their sophisticated style; Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson), Harry Potter (Daniel Radcliffe) and Troy Bolton (Zac Efron) setting young hearts a-flutter with their teen wear and rugged he-men like Wolverine (Hugh Jackman) flashing their muscles, it’s easy to pick a movie mentor to copy the fashions of. But a bearded goofball carrying around a strange baby? Yes, we’re talking about Alan, Zach Galifianakis’s character from this year’s break-out hit, The Hangover, who has become one of the pin-ups of 2009. Not content with coming in seventh on Fandango.com’s poll into this year’s Halloween movie costumes (see Related Content, right), his much-loved Human Tree T-Shirt has become an official style sensation. »

While it would seem that every day is a little like Halloween for the Harry Potter cast, Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint and Tom Felton really did it up on Saturday night for the Harry Potter Halloween Party at Harry's Bar in London. Rupert arrived all done up as a droog from A Clockwork Orange, while Felton donned a Ghostbusters uniform for the soiree. [DVD Review] The Haunted Airman

23 October 2009 3:00 PM, PDT | JustPressPlay.net | See recent JustPressPlay news »

Robert Pattinson finds himself facing the same mountain that Daniel Radcliffe has begun to successfully scale: living down the pop-culture mantle cast upon him. Unlike Radcliffe however, Pattinson has wisely chosen to start the process with all due haste so as not to be forever known as “that Twilight vampire guy”. However, before Twilight was even a twinkle on his horizon, he made The Haunted Airman, a made-for-television movie first aired in the UK in 2006 and canned until this 2009 release when the American audience will get another taste of pre-Twilight Pattinson. Unfortunately, there's a strong parallel between the two roles. It may help show that he can do more than brood and talk wistfully about a romance he can't let himself have (although there is an element of that here as well) but there's still one distracting drawback: he still looks like a vampire. So much so that it outshines »

The Perils of Being Named Harry Potter

22 October 2009 7:02 PM, PDT | Cinematical | See recent Cinematical news »

There's an Eric Snider who writes about music and movies for a paper in Florida, and an Eric Snider who developed the Solitaire game that was ubiquitous on computers in the 1990s, and I've occasionally been mistaken for both of them. My lot in life is easy compared to someone named, for example, Harry Potter. London's Daily Mail has an amusing story about one such fellow, an unlucky lad who also happens to have a scar on his forehead (not lightning-shaped, though) and is the same age, 20, as Daniel Radcliffe, who plays the boy wizard in the movies.

Harry Potter was 9 years old when the first Harry Potter book came out, and what began as a silly coincidence became a major annoyance as the series' popularity grew. (As big a deal as Pottermania is in the United States, I understand it's even bigger in the U.K.) He says he »

Nothing hurts the credibility of the film blogosphere like bad rumors. Worst Name in the World: Harry Potter

22 October 2009 1:42 PM, PDT | Fandango | See recent Fandango news »

I will certainly admit that it was no fun growing up with the same name as a one-time famous baseball player. I couldn't even tell you how many times I got the old, "So, you related to the baseball player by any chance?" whenever someone would learn my full name. That being said, I could only imagine how horrible it must be for the folks who have the same name as big-time celebrities or popular fictional characters – and for proof, look no further than the poor bloke who had no idea his name would eventually become synonymous with that of a fictional boy wizard. Oh yes, there's actually a real-life Harry Potter who lives in the UK, and is the same age as Daniel Radcliffe (20), the actor who portrays the fictional Harry Potter in all the films. Potter, who was born in...

Robert Pattinson says he's happy he quit 'Harry Potter' (IrishCentral)

22 October 2009 9:14 AM, PDT | IrishCentral | See recent IrishCentral news »

Robert Pattinson got his start in Harry Potter and the Twilight star says he's delighted he didn't stay at Hogwarts. Pattinson played Cedric Diggory in "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix" with Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson, and he says that was quite enough for him. He says there's no way he could have kept the pace on the Harry Potter series. "The 'Harry Potter' I worked on was an 11-month shoot,'" said Pattinson. "I couldn't be doing that. I don't know how those guys stayed sane — they've been doing it for 10 years. I would go completely crazy." Pattinson says he has no choice but to complete the Twlight franchise. "I guess I have no choice right now — because I'm contracted to do them. But they're all going to be done quite quick. I'll have done three of the four by October of this year, then I'll »
