Formally trained in theatre, film and TV directing, he wrote and translated/adopted plays and directed for professional repertory theaters in Romania, including critically well-received "Death of a Salesman" by Arthur Miller and "Love's Labour's Lost" by Shakespeare; original actors and puppets "Amor" that opened EUROmarionettes festival in 1994; popular long running musicals "Ages of Love" and "Crazy Cats", which he both adopted and wrote the lyrics; and in California "The Two Gentlemen of Verona" by Shakespeare for Magnolia Playhouse of Hollywood, and the staged reading of "Confessions of A Catholic Child" by Elizabeth Appell for Long Beach Playhouse.
As an accredited foreign press correspondent, he writes for several Romanian-American publications. He covers Hollywood news, and various aspects of California life, arts and sports.
He has written several full length feature screenplays, including the sci-fi "Area 19", thrillers "Scenes from a Revolution" and "Due Process", the romantic comedy "Who Gets the Girl?", and the urban morality tale "Happy Happier Hell".
Hosts the weekly "Hollywood Minute" for Radio Timiosara in Romania.
