Born in Montreal, Canada. Began professional career at age 14. Acted in many stage productions and was with the Montreal Shakespearian Co. On CBC performed as a regular in many dramas such as Laura, Ltd. Upon arriving in New York acted in CBS Mystery Theatre and dubbed many foreign films into English. For 18 year was the voice of Snuggle the Bear for the fabric softener.
