Marian Nixon was born on October 20, 1904, in Superior, Wisconsin. Her career started in 1923 when she played Agnes Evans in Cupid's Fireman (1923). She was nineteen. Marian always gave a good account for herself when she appeared in films and was much in demand throughout the 1920s. Marian was one of those fortunate actresses who made the successful transition to the "talkie" era. Her final film was as Treasure McGuire in Tango (1936) in 1936. When she retired, Marian had been in 73 productions. On February 13, 1983, Marian died from complications from surgery in Los Angeles, California. She was 78 years old.
