Dread Central got an anonymous tip with the supposed plot details to Fox's upcoming Dtv sequel Wrong Turn 3, the follow-up to one of the most successful DVD releases of last year Wrong Turn 2 (directed by Joe Lynch and starring Henry Rollins). Keep in mind this is unconfirmed, but below is the supposed plot synopsis for Wrong Turn 3, which is being helmed by Declan O'Brien. (We figured this would give us a chance to link you to our Joe Lynch interview again, since it's one of our personal favorites!)
From Dread: "Fonda and her friends go to the woods for a couple of days. Her friends are killed by the wild, now staple mutant killer, Three Finger, who of course cannibalizes them. Considering that last year's Wrong Turn 2: Dead End was the most successful Direct To DVD release for Fox, another sequel was inevitable! Fox is moving forward with Wrong Turn 3 and has just begun the casting process. Declan O'Brien has officially been tapped to direct the 2nd sequel. O'Brien recently directed Cyclops, Genesis Code and Rock Monster. No info on the plot yet but we'll keep you posted as the film develops.

James Zahn, the mastermind behind the forever-in-development monster mashup Death Walks the Streets, just dropped us a line with your first look at issue #0 of the Dwts comic, which is looking to be released very soon. More pages are below!
As we told you about before, Zahn and the rest of the Scream Factory crew will be inhabiting booth # 933 at next week’s Wizard World con in Chicago, where they’ll have a convention exclusive copy of issue #0 limited to 333 pieces, the regular version, and a 12x18 poster limited to 500 pieces on hand. The preview issue itself will contain a sketchbook with production designs for the film, including set designs done by No Country for Old Men/Burn After Reading production designer Gregory Hill!
So it’s going to be pretty badass.

Today we received word that a new Aussie film is being developed entitled The Fury. Horror master James Colmer, known for his extreme visual style behind films such as House Of Wax and See No Evil, is about to unleash hell on five unsuspecting teens in this new psychological thriller. Blair Witch 2 and Texas Chainsaw Massacre star Erica Leerhsen and Euro Pop Singer Patrick Nuo are among the cast who seek shelter in an abandoned slaughterhouse, only to find it is haunted by a malevolent poltergeist. Today the first trailer appeared online for Lonely Joe, which is a supernatural thriller based on true events that took place in South Texas about 20 years ago. A series of bizarre murders and disappearances inspire a haunting curiosity that drives newspaper reporter Michele Connelly (played by Erica Leerhsen) back to her hometown of Solvay, Ny after 10 years to uncover what is truly happening on the railroad tracks behind Joe Gainard's (played by David Fine) old farm. Hoping to discover the truth behind a decade of cover-ups and disappearances, she is stonewalled by several people along the way who would prefer that these tragedies remain a mystery.
