Her father works for the EPA, and her mother is a high school English teacher.

She left "Roseanne" (1988) to attend Vassar College, where she was an English major with a concentration in poetry.

Played on the college rugby team.

While working on Rosanne, Alicia took summers off to be a counselor at a YMCA summer camp in Michigan.

She plays guitar and mandolin.

Auditioned for the lead in Boys Don't Cry (1999), but won a supporting role instead. The director thought that Lecy's performance was too humorous for the lead.

Was number 92 on vh1's "100 Greatest Kid Stars" (2005)
