Here's a story notable for two reasons: 1) It involves a current First Lady, and 2) Woody Allen gave an interview. Allen, who doesn't exactly find himself on the press circuit to support his movies, told France's Rtl radio that he might like to work with Carla Bruni-Sarkozy, former supermodel and current wife of French president Nicolas Sarkozy.
The talk turned on the Bruni when Allen was asked about shooting a film in Paris, which the director reportedly plans to do next year. "I'm sure she would be wonderful," Allen said through a translator. "She's got charisma, she's already acted so she's not unknown to an audience.
"There are a lot of ways I could use her though I don't have a story for her at the moment," Allen added. "But I'll certainly talk to her about it and I'll ask her if she's interested."

Woody Allen is eyeing his next muse - and he thinks France's first lady Carla Bruni-sarkozy would be the ideal candidate.
The Annie Hall director was promoting his new movie Whatever Works in Paris on Thursday when French reporters quizzed him on who he would love to work with.

He told journalists, "Without question, Carla Bruni! I'm sure she would be wonderful. She has charisma, and she performs, so she's not a stranger to an audience, and I would cast her in many different ways.
"I don't have a story at the moment, but you know, maybe even I'll ask her, if she's interested."
