In the Stargate SG-1 episode "The Other Guys", John Billingsley plays a scientist with a fascination with Star Trek (his character states he dresses up as a Vulcan at Star Trek conventions). In Star Trek: Enterprise, John Billingsley plays the medical officer Dr. Phlox, whose shipmate is a Vulcan named T'Pol.
