Based his characterization of Dr. Forrester from some jerky club owners he encountered on the stand up comedy circuit.

Was the original Crow T. Robot on "Mystery Science Theater 3000" (1988) as well as the original antagonist, Dr. Clayton Forrester, named after the hero of the 1950s film version of The War of the Worlds (1953).

His father portrayed the old version of his character Dr. Forrester in the final episode of the seventh season of "Mystery Science Theater 3000" (1988).
