Chris Bearde one of America's premiere televison producers was born in England but grew up in his adopted home Australia. His various creative contributions have brought us some of our happiest television memories. From The Laugh In, through _Elvis Presley's '68 Comeback Special (1968) (TV)_ to "The Sonny and Cher Comedy Hour" (1971) and "The Gong Show" (1976) to his cult Showtime hit 'Sherman Oak', the manic Bearde touch stands alone.
Along with Allan Blye and the late Sonny Bono, Bearde wrote the book for a new musical titled "Got You Babe". A deal is currently in negotiations.
After moving to Las Vegas in 2005 He created and trademarked Chris Bearde's International Comedy Hall of Fame. He is currently developing this 30,000 square ft entertainment and exhibition complex to be built in Las Vegas.
He has also opened The Chris Bearde School of Comedy in Las Vegas which is now in its third series of classes.
