Lionsgate recently released the first screenshot from Patrick Lussier’s upcoming horror flick “My Bloody Valentine 3-D,” a remake of the 1981 film of the same title. Check it out just above; it’s quite bloody indeed.
Starring Jensen Ackles, Jaime King, Kerr Smith and Edi Gathegi, the film focuses on a guy who returns to his hometown years after a bloody Valentine’s Day massacre. But instead of a homecoming, Tom finds himself suspected of committing the murders.
As you can see in the title, the whole thing will arrive in theaters in 3D. People being brutally slashed and blood splattering all over your face - how’s that’s for a 3D experience? The film is set to open Jan. 16, 2009.

Lionsgate has released the first publicity still of Supernatural's Jensen Ackles from the upcoming My Bloody Valentine 3-D! (Below) Based on the 1981 cult horror, My Bloody Valentine 3D, directed by Patrick Lussier, tells a tale of Tom Hanniger (Jensen Ackles), a man who caused an accident in a coal mine in the town of Harmony, killing five men and putting one into a coma. That man, Harry Warden, wakes from his coma one year on with his mind set on revenge. Somewhat overzealous in his definition of revenge, he brutally murders 22 people before being killed himself.
Ten years on, Hanniger returns to Harmony hoping to make up for his past. His ex-girlfriend, Sarah (Jaime King), has married his former best friend (Kerr Smith). But that's really the least of his worries, since a killer wearing a miner's mask and armed with a pick axe has started, well, picking off the townsfolk.

Giving fans a chance to get a taste of next "Supernatural" episode, The CW have released a promo video for episode 4.04. The snippet gives out glimpses of the upcoming episode of the horror thriller series, pointing out questions whether Sam and Dean are hunting an innocent man or destroying a monster when they meet Jack Montgomery.
Basically a kind family man, Montgomery doesn't realize that he is turning into a Rugaru, a creature that starts as a human but progressively changes into cannibal and eats another person. While Sam believes he can help Montgomery to come to his senses and control his urges, Dean thinks that the best thing to do is to kill him once and for all.
Starring Jared Padalekci and Jensen Ackles as the two paranormal brothers and guest-starring Dameon Clark as Montgomery, the episode is called "Metamorphosis". Directed by Kim Manners using the script penned by Cathryn Humphris,

I’m just going to say upfront that this is nothing but a SPOILER filled recap/review of the season 4 premier of Supernatural. If you’ve DVR’d it, then as I always say, avert thine eyes and return once you’ve seen it for yourself. If you are of the inclination, then read on my trusty readers!
Supernatural: Lazarus Rising starts out the CW’s 4th season of the popular fantasy show.
We get dealt with a nice compilation of the brothers Winchester, Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles), demon fighting escapades from last season. It ends with the Hell Hound coming and taking Dean away and getting sent to Hell.
It’s four months later and Dean wakes up in his coffin. He crawls out of his grave and the camera pans back and we see that his grave is in the center of what looks like a meteor strike.

Some Recap:
First, we were a bit ripped last season, only getting 16 episodes of Supernatural due to the interruptus-writer-strikus, but it is what it is. Hopefully by next year, we will quit suffering from the affects of that event.
In the season 3 finale of Supernatural, we watched Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) try to find a way out of Dean’s contract with the devil, but come up empty-handed. Dean played his “stubborn card” and tried to deal with the issue with good old fashion elbow grease. In other words, no help from anyone demonic or otherwise.
But without the demon killing Colt, they were up the creek before they even started. Dean’s time arrived, the hell hound came and took his life, sending him to his agreed upon contractual destination.
The episode closed with Dean strung up in a void, screaming for his brother - and it wasn’t too pretty.

While Lionsgate's My Bloody Valentine 3-D won't be arriving in theaters until January 16, 2009, Director Patrick Lussier is already talking sequel to the film that stars Jamie King, Jensen Ackles, Tom Atkins, Kerr Smith, Edi Gathegi, Kevin Tighe and Megan Boone. "I think I'd be lying if I said Todd [Farmer] and I haven't had several conversations about it," says Lussier. "You know one of the things that we've really enjoyed in this process was the fact that we had such a great cast...or the fact that the characters that survive and how they survive at the end of the story, are incredibly intriguing. There is such an amazingly iconic villain [also]. All those things entice both Todd and I tremendously. And if we were to be so lucky, knock on wood, by all means we would love to be considered for that."

Fright friend Eric over at Bloody Good Horror.com recently had the chance to sit down with director Patrick Lussier for Horror Hound magazine and uncovered a few updates on his latest feature My Bloody Valentine 3-D. (The remake of the 1981 cult "slasher" pic.)
Current status according to the director? "Ya, we're about to have a bit of a screening for our delicious friends at the MPAA (laughs)... We're just hoping we don't follow in the footsteps of the original film. The original film went back 9 or 10 times and is notorious for having (over 10) minutes or something taken out of it. But with any R rated film it's a thing right? You're wanting to make sure that you're leaning over the edge but not falling into it."
He also hints at when we might get our first look at the movie via a trailer: "I suspect there will be one on Saw V.
