Pop Princess Britney Spears has been pigging out during her break from her world “Circus” tour and reportedly has gain 14 pounds in just one month. With the tour set to resume soon, her handlers are afraid she’s going to pull a Jessica Simpson and be scorned for porking up and appearing on stage in ill-fitting clothes. Britney was reportedly reduced to tears when she was warned that she will be called fat again. "She was in tears saying they're calling her fat again,” according to a source.

For Britney Spears' "Radar" video, the pop star ditched the writhing dance moves to explore what the video's director calls "the romance of high-end society and the guys that circulate around there."
The video, inspired in part by Madonna's 1994 "Take a Bow" video, was directed by Britney's longtime video collaborator Dave Meyers, who worked with Britney on her videos for "Lucky" and "Boys" as well as the commercial for her Curious fragrance. The new video centers on Britney being torn between two love interests: a rich guy and a polo player. (Spoiler alert: She picks the polo player.)
"She was in a really good headspace and open to trying new things, and I wanted to try some new things with her too,

British comedian Russell Brand is back for a second consecutive year as the host of the MTV Video Music Awards. This year’s show takes him to New York, where he will no doubt bring his signature style and taste for controversy. Just in case you can’t recall the finer points of Brand’s performance, here the top five moments delivered by the host during the 2008 version of the show.
Russell Versus Virginity: Last year’s biggest performance belonged to the Jonas Brothers, but before they stole the show with their faux-brownstone set, Brand took their purity rings to task. “I’d take it a little more seriously if they wore it on their genitals,” he said, creating the first of many awkward moments on stage. He even sparked a bit of a war between purity ring wearers and himself. He smoothed it over with an apology, though.

"We really had no idea what we were doing," said "Blair Witch Project" co-director Daniel Myrick to MTV News in June 1999, little more than a month before his indie horror film swept into theaters, scared up $250 million at the worldwide box office and set a trend of online viral marketing that is still being followed today.
Myrick and his collaborators might not have had a clue what they were up to, but years later, on Tuesday's (July 14)10-year anniversary of the flick's theatrical release, "Blair Witch" has become an undeniable classic of the horror genre. Not that any of the key players, even to this day, know exactly how to deal with such recognition for past accomplishments.

Britney Spears is in Stockholm, Sweden for the latest stop on her "Circus" tour and the superstar is visiting with an old friend. Spears confirmed she was recording with longtime collaborator Max Martin.
"In Stockholm in the studio with Max Martin," Spears wrote on her Twitter. Martin is responsible for Spears' first worldwide hit, "..Baby One More Time," and wrote and produced the controversial "If U Seek Amy" off her latest album.
She also reportedly entered the studio with Fernando Garibay for the new project, who previously worked on Spears' "Amnesia" and the Lady GaGa-penned "Quicksand." She's also hooking up with twin songwriters Olivia and Miriam Nervo, who wrote the current Kelly Rowland and David Guetta worldwide hit "When Love Takes Over."
But what's the new material for? The rumors are that Spears will re-release last year's "Circus" with new material or a recent singles collection featuring new material.
