The cast and crew of Frasier marked the end of filming the long-running comedy series on Tuesday night by sharing a huge pizza buffet with their studio audience. Kelsey Grammer's lovable radio psychiatrist Dr. Frasier Crane said "Goodnight Seattle" for the very last time after playing the uptight broadcaster for eleven years. The hour-long finale starring Grammer, David Hyde Pierce, Peri Gilpin, Jane Leeves and John Mahoney will air in America on the NBC network on May 13. After studio announcer David Willis announced "Ladies and gentlemen, that's a wrap!", dinner was served to the several hundred Frasier fans in the audience by catering staff and Gilpin, who played Crane's man-hungry producer Roz Doyle. Grammer joked to the audience, "I'm never working this show again." The cast also paid tribute to Frasier and Cheers creator David Angell, who died on one of the aircraft that crashed into New York's World Trade Center on September 11. During the comedy's long run, the cast and crew have won 31 Emmys, six American Comedy Awards and two Directors Guild Of America honors.
