Conan O'Brien had on John McCain this past week and besides being a pretty good sport with a fake falling asleep moment, McCain sat back and had a laugh while Conan played a "what if" scenario if there were a TV movie to be made about McCain's vice presidential selection process. With the upcoming release of Oliver Stone's W. I foun it interesting how much more Snoop Dogg looks like Condoleeza Rice than Thandie Newton, who will be playing Rice in the film, does. Check out the vid below, it's mildly entertaining.

Rapper Snoop Dogg is continuing his love affair with country music - by reworking Johnny Cash's classic track I Walk The Line.
The hip-hop star - who dedicated his new single My Medicine to the legendary musician - has signed up to work on an album of Cash covers.
The new disc, to be produced by the late singer's son John Carter Cash, will see a variety of stars giving Cash's songs their own personal touch.
And Carter Cash insists his father would have approved of Snoop Dogg's contribution.
He says, "He would have loved this remix record. While it stays true to the original recordings, this CD touches on undiscovered ground.
"This is what my father was about: staying true to tradition while creating groundbreaking new music."

It annoys the shit out of me when a film is announced in the trades but nothing’s said about what it actually will be about. Take the story on The Colony in this morning’s Variety; a long list of genre names is attached to it, but all we know is that it’s an eco-horror tale. How am I supposed to make a snap judgment about the quality of the film with so little information?
The Colony is being set up by Participant Media with Vertigo Entertainment and Room 101 producing, specifically Steven Schneider (Paranormal Activity redux) for Room 101 and Roy Lee (The Eye, Shutter) for Vertigo.
Right now I don’t even think a script’s been written, but the film will be coming from a pitch from Stacy Title (Snoop Dogg’s Hood of Horror director) and Jonathan Penner (one of the Hood writers). We

Rapper Snoop Dogg is embracing country music in his new video for the single "My Medicine." A cowboy hat-wearing Dogg dedicates the YouTube video to the late Johnny Cash, calling him "a real American gangster." "His music touched people like myself, which you probably didn't know," Dogg explained at the Cmt Awards in April. The single features Willie Nelson, Dancing With the Stars champ Julianne Hough and country star Brad Paisley. It's considered a surprising turn from a man known mostly for gangsta rap. At the age of 21, little-known model Cameron Diaz was cast opposite Jim Carrey in The Mask, despite having no previous acting experience. She had to read for the part 12 times and developed a stomach ulcer for her trouble, but her show-stopping entrance made her an instant star. Scoot forward a few years and the all-American star with Cuban-German-English-Cherokee ancestry is still at the top of the A-list and has romanced a conveyor belt of dishy men to boot. As new flick What Happens In Vegas opens in cinemas across the UK this week, it's high time we found out more about Hollywood's golden girl.
1. Cameron attended California's Long Beach Polytechnic High School at the same time as rapper Snoop Dogg.
2. Cameron would love to switch lives with comedian Jack Black - at least for a while. She says: "I think of who I would want to . . .

In March last year his request for a visa was turned down the day before he was scheduled to appear with P. Diddy at an anti-gang and youth crime forum.
However, a video recording of the incident showed that the rapper was entertaining children and didn't . . .

British authorities are appealing a court decision to allow rapper Snoop Dogg into the U.K.
The Beautiful hitmaker - real name Calvin Broadus - was prohibited from entering Britain after he was involved in a brawl at Heathrow Airport in April 2006.
That ruling was overturned earlier this year when Snoop wrote to the U.K. government to ask for his visa ban to be lifted.
But, on Friday, Britain's Border Agency bosses confirmed they will challenge the decision at a hearing next week (begs07Apr08).
The 2006 incident at Heathrow Airport left seven police officers injured and led to the star being handed a caution for affray and a ban on returning to the country.
In March 2007, Snoop had to cancel a tour of Britain with fellow rapper Sean 'Diddy' Combs when he was denied a visa.
The following month, he was also denied entry into Australia.
