Sex And The City star Cynthia Nixon has laughed off reports she has gone under the knife in a bid to maintain her youthful looks.
According to the New York Post's gossip column Page Six, both Nixon and her co-star Kristin Davis checked into Roosevelt Hospital in the Big Apple separately earlier this month for minor surgical procedures.
A source tells the publication, "Cynthia had a breast augmentation and soon after, Kristin had the varicose veins on her legs removed.
"They both made sure they did it on the quietest day of the week."
But Nixon's spokesperson has denied the rumours, insisting there is no truth to the claims.
Davis' representative has yet to comment on the allegations.

Kristin Davis jumped at the chance to reprise her role in Sex And The City: The Movie - because she was fed up with starring in family films.
After the hit U.S. programme came to a finish in 2004, the actress, who plays Charlotte York Goldenblatt in the big screen adaptation of the series, struggled to land any challenging parts and was instead forced to accept "mom roles" in such films as Deck The Halls and Shaggy Dog.
She tells Britain's Now magazine, "They (were) mom roles. There's not a huge amount of choice for women my age, so it's not that easy. I had whole scenes in Deck The Halls where I had no lines. I had whole days on Shaggy Dog where my only line was: 'Shaggy?'
"I'd email my manager saying: 'You have to come over here. I'm losing my mind.' If I had to do that forever, I'd simply quit acting and work for charity.
"So when we came back to do this movie, I was like: 'Thank God, something to do!'"

Sex And The City star Kristin Davis has denied reports alleging the hit TV show was marred by infighting between the four leading ladies.
Davis and her co-stars Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon and Kim Cattrall have long been dogged by rumours they don't get on - with speculation that petty arguments about costumes and pay had divided the group.
There was even gossip that the new movie adaptation was almost shelved because of the growing rift between the actresses - in particular between Parker and Cattrall, who have both admitted to a dispute over money.
But Davis insists the four women rarely fight when working together - especially not over a trivial matter like costumes.
She tells British TV show This Morning, "If we were fighting over shoes, if we actually got into a physical altercation over shoes - we would have to be in the nut house.
"We don't fight over shoes, we don't really fight. We are four of the luckiest, overpaid women in the world - with the best job in the world. We have been together for 10 years, working together for 18 hours a day. We would never have got through this if we weren't close. We love each other."

Davis tells U.S. tabloid the Globe she has been sober for 18 years and reveals therapy sessions helped her beat boozing.
She says, "I am an alcoholic. I know people who have abused alcohol and now they can have one (drink) and they're fine and I respect that.

Latest: Actress Kristin Davis has dismissed reports the cast of Sex And The City: The Movie snubbed New Yorkers by holding the film's world premiere in London, instead of in the Big Apple.
Studio bosses at New Line Cinema, which made the film, have come under fire for choosing to premiere the long-awaited project in the British capital - two weeks before it is unveiled in its spiritual home of New York on 27 May.
Davis hit the red carpet with her co-stars Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall and Cynthia Nixon in London on Monday, and insisted the film's debut in the U.K. was not meant to offend their New York fans.
Davis, who plays Charlotte York Goldenblatt in the film and TV series which proceeded it, tells Wenn, "It's great to be in New York, we're not excluding New York, there's enough of us to go around. (But) England has always been so supportive of us, and this is an incredible turnout; why not London? I love Britain."
And her co-star Sarah Jessica Parker admits the decision was ultimately out of their hands.
Parker, who stars as sex columnist Carrie Bradshaw, adds, "This is where New Line decided to do it and we're thrilled to start here then take it home to New York."
Producers at New Line Cinema are planning to make it up to New York's Sex and the City fans by holding a spectacular party at the city's famous Radio City Music Hall straight after the Stateside premiere.

Kristin Davis had to fight to keep her clothes on while filming the Sex + The City movie - because writer/director Michael Patrick King wanted her to get naked.
The filmmaker knew he'd never get his star Sarah Jessica Parker to disrobe - because she has a no-nudity clause in her contract - so he called on Davis to get naughty, alongside Sex's regular
exhibitionist Kim Cattrall, who plays maneater Samantha.
But David was horrified at the prospect of baring all - even in a shower scene.
She says, "He (King) tried to get me to be naked in that shower scene but I feel like I can't do that stuff. I feel really panicky about that stuff."
