In 1963, he starred in several episodes of a series scheduled for the fall season on NBC- TV called "The Robert Taylor Show" about a troubleshooting executive in the U.S. Department of Health, Education and Welfare. The series was a revision of the 1962 effort starring
William Bendix called "330 Independence SW (1962)" (episode of
"The Dick Powell Show" (1961). NBC canceled the series suddenly in the summer of 1963 following a dispute with HEW and the episodes never aired.
