HBO released a brand new promo poster from their upcoming series “True Blood” by directors Alan Ball and Michael Lehmann and starring Rutina Wesley, Jim Parrack ( CSI: Crime Scene Investigation ), Anna Paquin ( Trick ‘r Treat ) and Stephen Moyer. Synopsis: Alan Ball, creator of Six Feet Under, returns to HBO with a new series based on the novel series Southern Vampire by Charlaine Harris. The series follows Sookie Stackhouse, a telepathic barmaid who finds comfort in the company of vampires since they have no brainwave activity for her to read. Yes, there's more to this poster for the upcoming vampire series “True Blood”, but what more do you really need to see? Sexy lips, sexy tongue, just the right amount of plasma ... yep, that’s good enough for me.
Nevertheless, AICN has the entire poster for the new series from “Six Feet Under” mastermind Alan Ball. I keep getting this confused with Twilight, which I need to stop doing immediately because I know they couldn’t be more different.
“True Blood” stars Anna Paquin (yum) as a waitress who falls in love with a vampire, creatures that are accepted members of society now. Of course all does not go well when there’s an uprising by those sick of synthetic blood, which is the only thing that has kept vamps safe all these years.
