October 2001-January 2002: Performed the role of the Countess de Lage in the Broadway revival of "The Women," written by Clare Boothe Luce, at the American Airlines Theatre.

May 2005 - Replaced Carole Shelley in the role of Madame Morrible in the hit Broadway musical "Wicked."

In 1997, co-starred with C.Thomas Howell, Adam Ferrara, Steven Eckhold, Jane Sibbett, and child actors Mercedes Villamil, Chelsea Parnell, and Scotty Levenwroth in an unsold television pilot called "Dads" about three divorced dads, a woman fashion executive, a grunge-rock singer and an architect in the thralls of raising their precocious pre-schooler kids. Rue McClanahan played a German pre-school teacher (using her best fake German accent) named Mrs. Neuhauser.
