As part of its 50th birthday bash for its television division during May, CBS will digitally insert some of its greatest stars of yesteryear into current programs, allowing Candice Bergen, for example, to appear with Edward R. Murrow and Bill Cosby, with Jack Benny Chad Everett of the '60s medical series Medical Center will be seen on Chicago Hope; James Arness of Gunsmoke on Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman and Dick Van Dyke as Rob Petrie on the Dick Van Dyke Show will make an appearance on Van Dyke's Diagnosis Murder.
