A group shot of characters in the much awaited "Alice in Wonderland" has been unveiled. Slash Film pointed out that DeviantArt has scanned the photo from an unnamed magazine, which gives first look at Alan Rickman's Caterpillar. Other previously-exposed characters, like Alice, the Mad Hatter, the White Queen and the Red Queen, are also spotted.
Earlier, the Facebook fanpage of the Mad Hatter has promised to bring out an exclusive content to the animation movie. "My, my! Look how my army has grown! We've certainly done our part to win this madness," the message read. "As part of My army you'll be the first to see exclusive content from Alice in Wonderland- but you can't be late or you'll miss out so stay tuned!"

A new magazine scan has revealed very many of the characters from Tim Burton's upcoming Alice in Wonderland semi-sequel-adaptation-thing. This includes the Caterpillar, as played by Alan Rickman and if I'm correct, we haven't seen him before now. Get a look at the full spread and also a close-up of scan of Rickman's wriggly alter ego after the break. Here's the group shot, then the detail. Click on either of these to expand them. The full-page image comes courtesy of Deviantart user Nate Lestrange who appears to have scanned it from a magazine (I'm guessing the official zine of Disney club D23, but it's not entirely clear) while the Caterpillar close-up, I searched out and found at the Photobucket page of NBXZero. The magazine spread is a curious portmanteau of previously released images and the odd bit of new stuff. In the background is the castle of The White Queen, »

Stars including Jeremy Irons and Alan Rickman will help Emily Mortimer pay tribute to her beloved father Sir John by taking to the stage in London to perform some of the author's most famous works.
The actress has organised a live show to celebrate her dad's career, entitled John Mortimer At The Court... And Later At The Bar, which is set to take place at the Royal Court Theatre on 15 November.
It promises to be an emotional night for Mortimer, who was devastated when her father passed away in January, as he had always dreamed of writing a play for his talented daughter to star in.
A source tells Britain's Daily Express, "It will obviously be a very emotional night for her as they were so close and she misses him terribly. But she knows this is just the kind of night her father would have loved and that she has to be part of it. He'd expect her to be up there." »

Two days away from the release of Disney's A Christmas Carol, and we've got some clips that might get you into the Holiday season. The CGI faces creeps me out a bit, but I still want to see this. There's something appealing about the combination of Jim Carrey, Bob Hoskins, Cary Elwes, Alan Rickman, John Cleese...actually the whole cast is an impressive combination. Seeing Carrey in another Christmas movie doesn't bother me in the least. Oddly enough this will be the first movie outing... »

This new trailer for Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland, presented by SpikeTV, doesn't deserve as much hype as it's getting because it's basically a remix or rehash of the original teaser trailer first put out in July. That said, since it technically is a brand new trailer, I'm featuring it anyway, especially because the hype for this movie is (or rather was in July) through the roof. I'll be much more excited once we get to see an actual full-length trailer with finished visual effects and a shot of Alan Rickman as the Caterpiller - that is what I need to make me go crazy with excitement for this new Alice in Wonderland. So anyway, give this a shot. Watch the alternate teaser trailer for Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland: Alice in Wonderland is directed by visionary director Tim Burton, of everything from Pee-Wee's Big Adventure to »

So, please sit back and put your memory caps on as Screen Rant takes on a retrospective of 1999 in the world of film.

1. Loved Betty's tripped-out dream sequence, but I really wanted that caterpillar in her hand to blossom into a beautiful Alan Rickman. (He'll play the Hookah-Smoking Caterpillar in Tim Burton's upcoming Alice in Wonderland, but we haven't seen an image yet!) Two more brilliant insights ahead... 2. Yes! More Hollis (La Monde Byrd). "Every job has its ups and downs," the elevator operator and wordsmith reminded Pete Campbell. I don't think Pete got it. 3. Don Draper's hash. Put that in your pipe and smoke it. I so would.
