Her character, Denise Iannello from "Civil Wars" (1991) was saved from the cancellation of that series and added to "L.A. Law" (1986) the following season.

She has said her last name is really pronounced MaH-zahr, and not the commonly mispronounced May-zahr. However, she has accepted the media mispronouncing it as May-zahr.
