"I never wavered in my desire to be a mother," The Young and the Restless actress tells People. "But I did waiver on aspects of the process. It was the hardest thing I've ever done in my life."

A Note from the Flying Monkey: Of the many emails I receive every week for my column, some are so good that they simply can’t be answered in just a few words. So from time to time, the editors have decided to let me out of the “cage” of that regular column, in a feature we’re calling Monkey Uncaged! (What I didn’t tell the editors, of course, is that now they’ve let me out of my cage, do they really think I’m ever going back inside again?! Editor’s Note: Monkey no listen to his editor, Monkey no get fed.)

Coraline - I loved the use of 3D in Coraline so I'm wondering how it will transfer to the flatter world of home entertainment: Will that tunnel into Other Mother be as beckoning? Would the transformative acrobatic sister act pay off quite so well? Even if they won't, the film's imaginative visuals and fun character play will pull you into its rewarding tale of a bored little girl suddenly fighting for her soul and her parent's lives in a fantasy world that's not quite like her own. Coraline's journey is often compared to Alice's trip through the looking glass or down the rabbit hole. Miyazaki's Spirited Away was also described that way. »

Three weeks after Farrah Fawcett died, she earned the fourth Emmy nomination of her career, as executive producer of "Farrah's Story." The documentary detailed her courageous but ultimately losing battle against cancer. Viewers who tuned in to the May 15 special on NBC saw up close the valiant struggle of this onetime "Charlie's Angels" star. Fawcett's death was announced June 25 just hours before the end of voting to determine the nominees for this year's Emmy Awards. Television's highest honor eluded this small-screen icon, who earned three acting Emmy nominations during her three-decade-plus career. "Farrah's Story" was one of 43 shows in competition for the final five slots on the Emmy ballot for outstanding nonfiction special. It will now compete against "The Alzheimer's Project: Momentum in Science" (HBO); "Michael J. Fox: Adventures of an Incurable Optimist" (ABC), "102 Minutes That Changed America" (History), and "Roman Polanski: Wanted and Desired" (HBO). HBO and PBS documentaries »

Cheryl Ladd has revealed that she is still upset that she was not asked to take part in a Charlie's Angels reunion at the 2006 Emmy Awards. The actress replaced Farrah Fawcett after she left the show in 1977 and portrayed her Jill Munro character's younger sister Kris on the hit series until it was cancelled in 1981. Ladd has insisted that former co-star Kate Jackson cut her from the reunion with Fawcett and Jaclyn Smith to honour late TV producer Aaron Spelling, which reunited all three original Angels for the first time in close to thirty (more) »

Actress Cheryl Ladd is still sore about missing the chance to be part of the Charlie's Angels salute to TV mogul Aaron Spelling at the 2006 Emmy Awards, insisting co-star Kate Jackson cut her from the reunion.
Ladd replaced Farrah Fawcett on the hit show and played her character's sister Kris Munroe for 90 episodes between 1977 and 1981, but she was not invited to be a part of the Emmys tribute to Charlie's Angels creator Spelling.
She tells America's TV Guide magazine she was "hurt" when Jackson, Jaclyn Smith and Fawcett, who only appeared in the first season of the show, took the stage at the ceremony.
Ladd says, "I think Kate made the decision for everybody that this is how it was going to be. I was the outsider."
And the actress admits that although she has always been friends with co-star Smith, she never got close to her TV sister Fawcett, who died last week.
She adds, "She was a little surprised how well the show did after she left, so we both chose to be 100 per cent professional." »

Actress Jaclyn Smith regrets pulling out of two planned Charlie's Angels TV reunions - because now she'll never have the chance to work with the late Farrah Fawcett again.
Smith, who was among the celebrities in attendance at Fawcett's funeral in Los Angeles on Tuesday, has revealed there were firm plans to bring the three original Angels back together for a TV special before the release of the second Charlie's Angels movie in 2003 - but it fell flat.
She says, "They wanted us to do something that was so embarrassing."
And Smith, Fawcett and Kate Jackson also had the opportunity to sit down for a reunion special in 2006 - the same year the trio teamed up to pay tribute to Charlie's Angels creator Aaron Spelling at the Emmy Awards.
She tells TV Guide magazine, "Now I feel regret - why didn't we do it? We'd have that forever." »

Ryan O'Neal paid tribute to his beloved partner Farrah Fawcett in an emotionally "stirring" funeral service for the Charlie's Angels star.
The actress' son Redmond also gave a moving reading during the ceremony at Los Angeles' Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels on Tuesday afternoon.
The 24 year old and his father were pallbearers who held the star's casket aloft as it was carried into the Roman Catholic church ahead of the service.
Redmond O'Neal - who was granted a three-hour release from jail, where he's serving time on drug charges - gave the first speech of the ceremony in memory of his mother.
Ryan O'Neal sported a gold band on his wedding finger, despite never marrying Fawcett, as he read a verse from the Bible shortly after his son's tribute.
The star's longtime pal Alana Stewart gave a self-prepared eulogy about Fawcett, as did her doctor Lawrence Piro.
Fawcett's Charlie's Angels co-stars Kate Jackson and Jaclyn Smith were also at the ceremony to pay their last respects to the actress, who lost her battle with anal cancer last week aged 62.
The church and the coffin were decorated with orange and yellow flowers - the actress' favourite colours - and the funeral program featured a photograph of a smiling Fawcett in her hey-day, with a full head of her trademark curly hair and wearing a silk and sequined dress.
Around 500 people were at the service, according to entertainment journalist Eliot Tiegel, who attended with his wife, Bonnie.
He says, "It was one of the most musical funerals I've ever been to, and that's what happens when you go to a show-business funeral. Overall, it was very stirring."
The intimate service lasted for an hour and the street outside the church was flanked with fans wanting to pay their last respects to Fawcett.
As the star's family and friends left the church after the funeral, Fawcett's 90-year-old father James had to be helped to a waiting limousine as he struggled to contain his grief. »
