Final Destination 2 (2003)

FINAL DESTINATION 2 (2003) (New Line Home Entertainment): This gruesome sequel finds death stalking another group of people who escaped its clutches from a multicar highway pileup.

The attraction of this DVD is New Line's infinifilm, which allows you to select various options to insert during the viewing of the movie. That, plus a breezy commentary by the film's director, producer and writers make for a fun gorefest.

The disc offers the film in widescreen and full-screen formats, and also includes deleted and alternate scenes, three documentaries, one of which studies the effects of fear and distress on audience members. It's a hoot. DVD-ROM options also are available.

Even if the movie is not your cup of tea, the extras offer an attractive alternative.
